Bo Bunny Sketch Challenge

Bo Bunny issued a sketch challenge - and I couldn't resist! The sketch was created by the super talented Rita Shimniok. For tons of inspiration... check out her blog here: http://colorfullycreating.blogspot.com/

Here is the sketch:

I used Bo Bunny's "Tis the Season" line for my layout. Yes... this is a Christmas line - but I used it for an engagement layout! See how versatile it is?! I also used some flourish stickers from the Abbey Road collection.

Here is my layout:

I created the flowers using directions by Bo Bunny Design Team Member Tonya Dirk... THANK YOU to Tonya! I inked the flowers with Distress Ink and then spritzed them with Glimmer Mist for sparkle! The red heart is also spritzed with glimmer mist and them stitched onto the layout.

Here's a closeup:

Lastly... I for a helpfult hint! The flourishes were green - but I wanted them to be more brown so I used my StazOn ink pad and a Inksesstials foam dauber to re-color them to a brown. Then I outlined the flourishes (and the title) to give them more definition.

Visit the Bo Bunny site here: http://bobunny.blogspot.com/ for a look at their new releases - they are fabulous!

Design Team work for Scrap N Book

I wanted to share my latest Design Team work for Scrap N Book. They carry a whole store chock full of fabulous products. This month I worked with Crate Paper patterned and chipboard embellishments, Bo Bunny Chipboard Alphas, Bazzill, Queen & Co jewels and much more. Check out their blog here for store information: http://www.scrapnbook.typepad.com/

Here is the first layout I created with pictures of my girls from Christmas. The tag is leftover from a Melissa Frances mini album. The red alpha stickers are by Reminisce.

The 2nd layout I created features my wonderful parents and 2 of my daughters from Christmas day. I was able to utilize the remaining remnants leftover from the circle I had cut out from the previous layout (SAVE those scraps!!) I cut the scraps with old deco scissors and went to town!
I created several cards also. The first card is a "gate card" that opens in the middle. I used distress inks to enhance the elements on the card. Here is my 2nd card - I used the buttons as ornaments.

This box hold a mini album with pictures of family Game Night celebration! The mini album is an accordian album that is all pictures.
