Design Team Bonanza!

It has been a long time since I've posted new work... so here is a BONANZA of new work I did for my Design Team at Scrap N Book. Stop by the store and see the fabulous products they have to offer!

I created all these projects using We R Memory Keepers new line of papers called Maple Grove.

Here is my first layout. The strip with the title was created by spraying a cream colored piece of cardstock with blue "SmoochSpritz" for a shimmery texture. I made the 3D flower is and added the blue gem in the center:

My next layout is one of my favorites - I love the round shaped patterned paper. I created the flourished shapes with Tim Holtz die cuts (run through my cuttlebug).

This tin will hold my favorite fall recipes - of which I have quite a few since I love to bake as soon as the weather turns cool!

I created this candle using more of the Maple Grove line. I handcut the tree from the patterned paper mounted it with 3D tape to the front for added dimension. A little twine bow adds the perfect touch. It's hard to see in the picture but I added glitter pen to all the leaves and the stem of the tree.

Now for my cards! This Thanksgiving card was really fun to make. I cut a circle window out of the front of the card and then dangled the scalloped sentiment in the window! The scalloped sentiment is orange on one side and blue on the opposite side so it is pretty either way you look at it!
My last card is my "Thankful for you" card. I love this card because I created the background patterned paper myself using stamp and ink in different colors. Then I inked the edges of the "patterned paper" with brown distressed ink to give it more texture. The tree has red stickles dotted on it to look like apples which gives it a little extra sparkle for fun!

Thank you for having a look at my projects! Happy Fall!

Celebrating Freedom

4th of July 2005... yes I'm a little behind on my scrapbooking some would say! But I like to scrap in whatever order I want! It gives me great pleasure to scrap book out of order! So this 4th of July I scrapped pictures from 2005 using We R Memory Keepers Old Glory line which I absolutely love! I used some Bo Bunny chipboard alphas and flourishes also!
The products all came from Scrap N Book for my DT project. This was a 2 page LO. I cut the title and stars with my Wishblade. The stars were edged with stickles.

Here is a closeup of the stars. I accordian pleated a strip of pattered paper for the circle on the star and the glued it into a circle before adhering it onto the star.

The flourish was inked with distress ink the spritzed with water mixed with Perfect Pearls for a Pearlescent distressed look. I love how it turned out.

New Layout & Card

Here is a new card and layout using product from my local scrapbook store Scrap N Book where I am a Design Team Member. Check them out they have a fantastic selection for you to choose from.

Both projects used mainly We R Memory Keepers product.

I used my Wishblade to cut out the gecko and then ran it through my Cuttlebug for extra texture. I inked it up with distress inks from Tim Holtz. The green mat was cut with Martha Stewart Around the Page border punches.

Bo Bunny May Sketch LO Challenge

The unbelievably talented Rita Shimniok provided us with this 2 page sketch for the May Challenge over at Bo Bunny:

We were allowed to create a one or two page layout based on the sketch, and I decided to go with a one pager. I chose the Jazmyne line from Bo Bunny to compliment my pictures along with the Double Dot cardstock with is my all time favorite item in the Bo Bunny product line.

I also used Black Bo Bunny Chunky Chips Alpha Stickers which I painted green... then spritz with gold glitter spray for a really cool effect. I did the same with an ivory Chunky Charms flourish. The results turned out spectacular!

Notice the handcut detail along the left side of the layout and how the focal picture is nestled into the glittered flower work. This set of papers is just beautiful.
Here is a closeup of the painted/gold glimmer sprayed letters:

May Card Sketch Challenge

Here is the Card Sketch for the May Challenge over at Bo Bunny. It was created by the talented Juliana Michaels. I created my card using the Flutter Butter line, Double Dot and Abbey Road. Don't you love when multiple collections can come together on one project? That's one of the things I love so much about Bo Bunny - their lines really blend together well.

I used multiple tools to create this card. I used a spellbinder scalloped square die, a scalloped border punch and Tim Holtz (Sizzix) flower die for the fabulous rose in the center.

Here's the card:
Now for a closeup of the rose. I cut the flower die 5 times to create the rose. I inked the edges with distress inks. They take some time to create - but the end result is really worth the effort!

Bo Bunny "Mom Themed Layout"

In honor of Mother's Day I accepted the Bo Bunny challenge to create a layout with the theme of Mothers. I used pictures from this years Mother's day celebration that we had at our house. I am lucky enough to have both my Mom and my Mother-in-law live close by and we enjoyed breakfast cooked by my fabulous husband!

I created the layout using the Mama-Razzi line by Bo Bunny.

I treated the flower and the stamped camera with Crackle Accents by Inkssentials for a little extra texture and think they turned out pretty neat!

Time for a Bo Bunny Card Sketch Challenge!

Bo Bunny issued a Card Sketch challenge... and I couldn't resist. The sketch was created by Dee Gallimore Perry. Here's the sketch:

I created my card using the Delilah line of patterned papers. I used the Jazmyne acrylic stamps to create the flower/leaves. Here is the front of the card:
